Whitebait
Crispy fried whitebait served with tartare sauce, bread and a mixed leaf salad.
Baked Camembert (V)
Creamy Camembert studded with rosemary and garlic. Served withtoasted bread and red onion chutney.
The Crystal Palace Fish and Chips
Cod fillet, hand battered to order and served with chips, mushy peas, tartare sauce and a wedge of lemon.
Chickpea Tagine (V)
Slow cooked chickpeas, onions, almonds, tomatoes and apricots in a homemade Morroccan spiced sauce. Served with minted cous cous and pitta bread.
Somerset Pork
Free range pork leg and Bramley apples, slowly braised in cider and finished in mustard and parsley cream. Served with spring onion mash and a basket of freshly steamed vegetables.
Lamb Shoulder
Slow roasted on the bone in mint gravy. With spring onion mash and a basket of freshly steamed vegetables.
Lemon Tartlet
Fresh, zingy lemon filling on a crisp shortcrust base. Served with Marshfield's "Very Vanilla" ice cream.
Bread and Butter Pudding
Home made with buttered croissants, dried fruit and creamy custard. Served with double cream.
